"I have been in the music industry now for as long as I can remember, both in administrative and creative capacities. The early days saw me shift from solo guitarist/vocalist, playing around various restaurants in Sydney, through to being the bass player in an all-girl Perth band. Over the years, I managed to teach myself a variety of instruments and can honestly say I have played more venues than I have had hot breakfasts. As time went by, I became a personal manager in the pop and country fields and went on to produce albums and direct music video clips. During all of this, I began songwriting. My first track "Angel Heart" was picked up by Kathy Howard of Republic Productions, a Sydney based music publisher headed by the cream of Australia's music industry. That song alone, led to the signing of a full blown publishing agreement. Tracks off the album proved very successful in Romania, France and Belgium. Eventually I sidetracked into the world of filmmaking, whereby during the course of conversation, a strange turn of events brought me back to music...(did I ever leave!). The result of which, culminated in the writing of my book, PopStars & Idols the recipe for success."
